Flim Flam Flum
Exhibition
at KK Outlet, London, 2015
JC: stoutheartedly hoiking a baton-canvas standard into play at The Tetley. Careful preparation for carefree execution. NB: gongoozling the Regent’s Canal in a make-sing, flim-flam-flummox. WE: wheel centred on the Deco hearth. Registered mark on the every day work we want.
How do they hang? Staggered alignments. Jittered convivials. Edgy oscillations. Wares worried into shape. Spattered bleeds and watery lines. Routed eddies on and between the works. This common current pulls others to them (and with them). Herein, they host, educate, curate us – borne of an elective affinity.
